News broke yesterday that L’Oréal served a Florida wholesaler, Trend Beauty Corp, with a $4 million-plus trademark suit because of counterfeit fragrances, including 124 non-authentic bottles of Giorgio Armani’s Acqua Di Gio, along with other “defaced non-genuine” fragrances, including Polo Black and Armani Code. Yikes. (The *New York Post reports that in court documents, Trend Beauty founder Steve Meltzer says he “acted in good faith” when buying the goods.)*
